It connects your Discord voice channel to its web app and transcribes the session in real time, distinguishing each player’s voice and tagging it to their Discord name. After the session its Scribe feature generates a full recap covering NPC actions, player decisions and plot threads, and organises the people, places, creatures, items and lore into a campaign compendium. You can ask Scribe questions — who betrayed the party, which NPC gave the quest — against your transcript history. It states that transcripts and notes sit behind authentication and are not exposed to crawlers, bots or third-party AI.

Where Daria differs
Discord is one door, not the only one. Daria records a physical table through a laptop or phone microphone, separates the voices afterwards, and asks you to name each one once. She also imports sessions recorded elsewhere — Craig links, Zoom recordings, plain audio files up to 2GB, even Crit Scribbler transcript exports — so an archive that predates her still joins the campaign timeline.
The transcript knows your characters, not your usernames. Register the party with /character and lines are attributed to the character, not to the Discord handle. The same registration feeds the transcriber your invented names before it starts, alongside a campaign glossary any member of the party can add to — which is where most TTRPG transcription accuracy is actually won or lost.
The dice can be part of the record. The optional Foundry module adds rolls, spell casts, item uses and conditions on the same timeline as the words, with whispered, blind and self-rolls filtered out inside Foundry and chat messages never transmitted.
And the campaign is reachable from outside Daria’s own app: she is an MCP server, so Claude or ChatGPT can search your sessions, characters, lore and canon directly, with sources, from any device you already use.
