Daria vs Saga20
Saga20 has an editorial idea. Daria has a different one.
Most tools here summarize what was said. Saga20 starts from a sharper question — which of it was your characters talking? — and that choice runs through everything it produces.
See everything Daria does →What Saga20 is
A campaign tracker and world builder that listens to session audio, generates detailed recaps, and updates a campaign wiki automatically. It separates in-character dialogue from table chatter, produces structured summaries, and offers hooks for the next session. It supports multiple systems in 25 languages, with shareable campaign pages and a campaign chat.
What Saga20 is genuinely good at
- The in-character/out-of-character split. Pizza orders and rules arguments are most of a session’s runtime and none of its story. Filtering them is the single highest-leverage editorial decision a tool in this category can make.
- Ending on next-session hooks, which turns the recap from a record into prep.
- 25 languages, well past Daria’s four.
- Shareable campaign pages, so players can read without another account to create.
Where Daria differs
She is the recorder, not only the reader. Daria joins your Discord voice channel and captures every player on their own track, so who-said-what is never a guess. When the table meets in person instead, she records the room through a laptop or phone and separates the voices out of that single track. Either way the audio never has to be somebody’s responsibility to produce and upload.
The evening comes back as scenes, not one summary. After a session you get the recap in Discord within minutes, then the session cut into its actual scenes with a summary each, the full timestamped transcript, a podcast, and a running campaign synopsis that updates every session.
The dice can be part of it. The optional Foundry module adds rolls, spell casts, item uses and conditions on the same timeline as the words — filtered so whispered, blind and self-rolls never leave Foundry.
And answers cite what they came from: /ask and the dashboard chat link to the session and scene, and the campaign is reachable from Claude or ChatGPT through the MCP server.
